Egg artistry is a craft involving having a steady hand and using needle-fine tools on an eggshell to create intricate designs in the shell itself. Carved edges and finely detailed filigree cut-out patterns create miniature sculptures that can then be embellished with miniatures, figurines, gems, lace, rhinestones, tiny findings, and even your own photographs. They make perfect gifts for your family and friends and will easily become a favorite heirloom in your family for many generations.
It is important for us to state upfront that no birds are harmed in the collection or use of our eggs. All the eggs we use for our art come from hatcheries where they are confirmed to be infertile (they do not contain baby birds). They are drained and sterilized at the hatchery before reaching us. We advise against collecting your own eggs from the wild to attempt any of our projects. Doing so is illegal, as it upsets the natural breeding patterns of your local birds.
If you are interested in purchasing eggs from us to create your own egg art, we will gladly provide any supplies you need. We are also happy to provide any instruction or tips you need to create your own. From tools to findings and the shells themselves, we have everything you need to make your own egg creations. If you do not see what you need to complete your project, we will gladly procure it for you. Even when done by our expert artisans, a single egg piece can take up to one month to complete.
